Campus Life

Your university campus is much more than the place you go for lectures. It's your social and creative hub; where you meet and make friends, experience unforgettable events, tackle big ideas and hone your craft alongside fellow students in professional studios.

Both our campuses are dynamic, inspiring environments where collaboration and creativity spark ideas and feed innovation. The purpose-built Penryn Campus is a contemporary creative hub, while the historic Falmouth Campus is nestled in the heart of glorious sub-tropical gardens only a five-minute walk from the beach. And with great travel links between them, it's easy to enjoy both.

Food, drinks & events

Both campuses have their own cafés serving hot and cold meals at very reasonable prices. There's also an eclectic range of street food vans and pop-ups regularly visiting each campus. On top of this, the Stannary Bar at the Penryn Campus hosts everything from open mic and quiz nights to DJ sets with some of the country's top artists.

Penryn Campus also plays host to an enviable array of live music, theatre and dance courtesy of the Academy of Music & Theatre Arts' public performance centre.

Green space

Rich in heritage, our grounds blend the old and the new, with stunning gardens creating a beautiful environment to work in. At Falmouth, students can explore the peaceful and colourful, sub-tropical Fox Rosehill Gardens. While at Penryn, there's the walled garden, fruit-producing orchard, Italian garden, 18th century lime avenue and the historic rare rhododendrons.
